Welcome to Boarding at St Francis de Sales Regional College

As one of the pioneering boarding facilities in the Riverina, our college proudly supports a diverse student community deeply rooted in rural values. We emphasise the values of discipline, self-responsibility, and respect. Our community actively participates in social justice initiatives and lives out Catholic traditions. Education at our College goes beyond academics, aiming to develop compassionate and engaged citizens.

Students are encouraged to embody empathy, integrity, and generosity in their interactions and community

Weekly Boarding Structure

Boarding Routine
Students arrive Monday morning and stay until Friday afternoon, enjoying a structured week that balances academics, activities, and relaxation. We offer convenient bus services for pick-up and drop-off, and parents are welcome to arrange their transportation preferences.

Accommodation and Supervision
The school houses students in dormitories based on their year level and gender, with each group assigned a dedicated supervisor. These supervisors provide pastoral care and support and oversee student welfare both during the afternoon and overnight. We also ensure students can attend necessary medical or dental appointments in town during the afternoons.

Homework and Study
Each boarding student has their own desk in their dorm room, and time is dedicated each night for students to complete their homework, work on assessment tasks and study for examinations. During the evenings, the library is staffed by a teacher, allowing students to recieve assistance and guidance with their classwork.

Boarding Menu Plan

Our Boarding House provides a balanced selection of simple nutritious meals throughout the week from Monday to Thursday.

Vegetarian and gluten-free options are provided on request.
